RockShox Revelation RLT Ti Dual Position Air fork review
Impressively controlled on the trail

RockShox’s new travel-adjust fork is a breeze to use and impressively controlled on the trail. The 15mm Maxle Revelation forks get a new bottom end including a bolt-in hose guide. Stiffness is very good. It tracks tighter and is more capable of bullying its way through random rockeries than the obvious competition.
Despite the Dual Position travel-adjust it’s still a bearable weight. The left-hand travel lever is a cinch to use, dropping the fork 30mm and softening the air spring for better climbing manners, especially on the uphill switchbacks. The Solo Air spring self-sets its negative pressure for a supple start to the stroke and there’s no palpable difference to the smoothly progressive stroke of the fixed-travel forks.
While RockShox Europe only had a basic RL version spare, Fisher Outdoor Leisure will be bringing the full RLT Ti version to the UK. This means better high-speed oil flow for excellent big-hit and square-edge slap to let you plough through serious trouble without flinching. We’ve not had any trouble from several sets we’ve ridden, so RockShox’s impressive reliability reputation looks safe.
