Extremely stiff with consistent, tuneable damping. A dirt jump bargain

UK company Ison Distribution have been pushing and pioneering high value jump kit for years, and now they’ve even got their own fork range.

Typically for Ison, the Xeno is rammed full of features. The 36mm legs are super stiff and the dropouts take a 20mm bolt-through axle or plugs for a conventional 9mm skewer.

The single chamber air spring sits on one side, with the rebound damper on the other. The result is a light enough to race, strong enough to case jump fork that’s easy to set up for consistent control.

The Xeno comes in black and white, and 100mm stroke versions. The £169.99 DJ version adds a steel steerer and stanchions for better impact strength, but with a corresponding weight increase.
