Our review
A secure, silent device that works well and looks good

Keeping a bike versatile without compromising performance is a big task, but Gamut have stepped up to the task with the P30 dual chainguide.

Gamut use a 6061 aluminium back plate that can be mounted to just about any bike (ISCG, ISCG 05 or bottom bracket) with a roller fixed on the underside of the ring to provide tension.

The polycarbonate bashguard ensures your chainrings remain intact and fend off any possible damage from stray debris on the trail. The device is a piece of cake to fit and just as easy to set up. With no top guide, the front mech remains undisturbed and can go about its business as usual.

The stepped roller helps maintain tension no matter what ring you’re using and shifting remains remarkably smooth throughout. We had no issues with dropping the chain, even after throwing some of the nastiest compressions and terrain at it – a good piece of kit.
