RaceFace’s Atlas AM crank is tough enough, but this limited edition FR version is more robust than most manufacturers’ pure downhill racing set-ups.
We’ve logged years of trouble-free riding on the original Atlas AM, and this version gets a stronger chromoly axle for even more durability.
Supplied with two tough alloy chainrings and etched alloy bashguard, it also features a removable inner ring spider to increase chain device clearance. The result is a rock solid, lifetime warrantied crankset at just over the kilo mark.
Short bottom bracket life – even with the new seals and Phil Wood grease – is a weak link, but it performs as sweetly as its laser etched contour design looks.
