The new Atherton signature grip from PRO is nice and wide, with 135mm of useable grip, and has a single locking ring to allow full use of the grip without the outer ring getting in the way.
Unlike other manufacturers that have used this approach, the Pro series uses an internal wedge to further secure the grip in the end of the bar, rather than relying on a single lock-ring.
The profile is nice and thin, and the rubber is soft and tacky. This characteristic, combined with the Atherton logo pattern, makes for good adhesion with gloves or bare hands. We like this a lot.
