Hard-wearing grips with extensive waffle design and clever thumb areas

Specialized are quick to tell us that a lot of development has gone into their SIP grips, and we don’t doubt it for a moment.

The lock-on collar is only on the inside of the grip, which means you can grab right to the edge of the bars, and the aramid-infused grip compound is proving durable, showing no signs of wear yet.

The pattern on these grips is the biggie though. It’s a half-waffle design but with part of the waffle missing for increased thumb grip. They’re also slightly ovalised on the inside and are available in two thicknesses to suit different hand sizes.
