Fireeye FE-318 Handlebar review

This bar was designed in the USA by FireEye owner Glen Groesbeck and it's ideal if you're on a tight budget. It's only available with a 31.8mm diameter and it's made from 6061-T6 aluminium, which is butted in the centre where it attaches to the stem.

Wide, comfortable handlebar that doesn’t hit the wallet too hard

This bar was designed in the USA by FireEye owner Glen Groesbeck and it's ideal if you're on a tight budget. It's only available with a 31.8mm diameter and it's made from 6061-T6 aluminium, which is butted in the centre where it attaches to the stem.

A pair of flame logos over neat black anodizing make the bar stand out, while a smooth finish at the ends makes shifting controls and grips around an easier job. The sweep and rise are easy to get on with and at around 28in wide, with cutting marks already in place, and with a 1.5in rise, it's designed to suit most riders out of the packet. The FE-318's overall is weight is 375g.
