FSA’s cutting-edge hybrid is ideal for competitive trail riders

This may look like a full carbon bar, but FSA’s latest pipe is a state-of-the-art alloy and carbon fibre hybrid offering great performance for the price.

With a minimal 18mm rise and four-degree backsweep, this is as low and aggressive a riser as you’ll get. The fat section extends right through the bends for a stiff and resolute hold on your front wheel.

At 25.9 inches wide you’ve still got enough leverage for fast and loose trail riding without hanging your fingers off the ends. The carbon element seems to take out the sting that a similarly stiff alloy bar would create.

The bonus of this technology splicing is that you’re getting a raceable 214g weight, which would make for a fragile alloy bar, but you pay a lot less than a full carbon bar. Expect to see a lot more like this soon.
