The Planet X is an oversize bar with the 31.8mm centre section bit running all the way out to the first bend. Made from triple butted 7075 and with a 160mm drop, it’s almost exactly the same specification as the Quest Abductor.
This version, though, (well, at least our test sample) from Planet X has a much better finish to it, and is also 10g lighter for the same width bar. The deflection test was almost identical, showing a relatively uncompromising stiff bar that in use feels just like an uncompromising stiff bar.
