Profile’s new Largo/ZBS set is a very cost-effective and versatile cockpit solution for time triallists. The ZBS bars use a bar-level clamp to get you low, and feature removable, washable pads.
At 402g they’re not light, but they’re neat, widely adjustable and lock your arms in confidently. We tested the 180mm bars with optional plug-in bridge, but there’s a full aero 270mm version as well.
The Volna base bar gets a wider centre section for increased span adjustment. The diagonal shoulder section is extended to give an extra climbing position. It also means you can use a longer, more secure extension without fouling the brake lever.
The big below-brake flat section makes them feel secure on descents. At 322g they’re an average weight, but we’re really impressed by how they work together on the bike, and the combo price makes them a bargain.
