This double butted aluminium bar is meant not just for the back of a tandem, as its name implies, but also for use with clip-on aero-bars.
What’s significant about the design is that there’s no central bulge for the stem to grip: it’s 26mm throughout, meaning you can fit the aero-bars where they’re most comfortable.
There’s some internal cable routing, but most will be under the outside bar tape. Weighing 289g for the 44cm width, a 47cm model is also available. Profile list 40 and 42cm widths as well, but UK distributors Madison don’t.
