A good way to keep your front end low without resorting to flat bars or hacking at your frame!

Low front ends seem to be the way things are heading in downhill racing, and the -One is by far the biggest dropping stem we’ve seen. The reach can be set at 50 or 55mm, which puts the bars just about far enough forward to compensate for the staggering 20mm drop from the top face of the crown to the bottom of the bar.

This drop is so big that we’ve been asked whether the stem’s been put on upside down. Fitting was fine, although it can turn into a fiddle getting the front crown fixing bolts in. The production versions feature laser etched graphics to show reach, and a choice of gold or red faceplate.
