Bontrager's mid range stem is a straightforward piece of work.
>It's nicely forged with enough bulges, scoops and contoured windows to make it look good without any machining except for the big Bontrager 'button' on the chunky front clamp.
It's the only two-bolt stem here but it feels stiff enough in use to us. Keith Bontrager has written whole essays on handlebar clamp design and stresses too, so he's certainly thought it through. Flip flop decals mean easy reversing too.
