Our review
Quality stem for all kinds of riding at a good price and it’s a break from the norm

FireEye may be a new name here in the UK but they arrive with a strong range of components designed in the USA, including several stems.

>The Talon model is machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aluminium before being anodised in black, silver or orange and having logos laser etched into it. It's available with either a 25.4 or 31.8in bar clamp diameter, a 0-degree rise and a 47mm reach, which means it will tick the requirement boxes of most people.

>It has a rounded profile, which makes it easy on the eyes and knees and a welcome break from angular stems, and it looks smooth on the bike. 6mm bolts all round make fitting and adjustment easy and they inspire confidence. The stem delivered everything we asked of it, coping with all the terrain we blasted it across or threw it off and the price is good.
