The new direct mount downhill stem from grip masters ODI is the Flight Control. It’s made from good old 6061 T6 aluminium and features some tidy laser etched graphics.
It’s only available in 50mm reach which was bang on for us – although it does sit a little higher than some other direct-mounters. The rise isn’t too dramatic though, while the feel is stiff and secure.
There are little alignment markers included, for use with ODI's Flight Control bar. It’s not the cheapest stem out there but quality is high and the Flight Control’s looks are pretty tidy too.
