Powerplay Race Pro stem review

More perfectly serviceable cockpit kit from Moore Large’s new value line.

The Race Pro is a simple but smoothly executed single piece forged 2014 alloy pipe and steerer clamp design. There’s no sexy detailing to make it stand out, but no sharp edges or other horrors to worry about either.
Considering it’s a relatively long stem it’s perfectly okay in weight and stiffness terms too, with no creak or rough thread issues concerning the opposed bolt rear clamp, or 4 bolt ‘X plate’ front clamp. Shorter high rise versions are also available.
