If you’re in the market for a well made and reliable pair of mountain bike-style clipless pedals for commuting and touring duties, you can’t go far wrong with these.
The bearings are smooth and easy to service, and clipping in and out of the mechanism is precise and reliable.
The supplied cleats give a generous seven degrees of float and offer a predictable release with plenty of ‘give’ before they clip out. They’re fully compatible with Shimano SPD cleats too.
In the long term, keep an eye out for debris building up between the coils of the release mechanism spring as this makes them stiffen up a little, but other than that, these are great performers at a great price.
