Dubious looks, even more dubious performance

These are the evolution of FireEye’s old Grill pedals and, like their predecessors, they’re built tough. The body is 6061 T6 aluminium, the axle is 4130 chromoly and the bearings are of the sealed variety.

They feature four replaceable M3 bolts at the front and a slightly wider spaced trio at the rear. While the Holy Grills may withstand a good old battering they are a bit on the heavy side at 635g per pair.

Grip isn’t great either. Unless your feet are square on the pedal, that wide open space in the middle of the body makes them slippery even in the dry.
