Quality lightweight pedals and good-looking too

It's hard not to notice just how little there is to Ritchey’s Echelon pedals. Ritchey is known for its gram-shaving products and these pedals are no exception, hitting the scales at 230g.

The Look style bodies are made from tough forged aluminium with a neat black ball-burnished finish combined with a nylon/carbon claw system for easy entry and exit.

They’re compatible with Look Keo cleats and come with both grey and red cleats in the box. This gives you a choice of either 0 or 4.5 degrees of float.

The new ball burnished black finish is also a lot grippier than the older polished versions that were a bit slippy against the cleat under big power loads.

Once you’re clipped in, the stack height is extremely low, keeping your feet close to the axle for efficient power transfer. Inside are chromoly axles and a combination of ball and needle bearings and bushings, all of which worked perfectly during testing.

Spring tension is fully adjustable from the outside of the pedal using an Allen key.
