Our review
Novel new design, but we’re not entirely convinced

The latest attempt to redesign the saddle, the Ergonomic Comfort by Boeing designer Thomas White, does away with the nose so that your weight rests directly on your sit bones, reducing pressure on your groin when you ride.

ECD recommend giving yourself 10 days to get used to the saddle, and we reckon you’ll need it. When you’re riding a drop-barred bike, more of your weight ends up on the bars, and the ECD is far more likely to appeal to users of flat-barred bikes or mountain bikes.

If you do suffer from numb nuts it might be worth taking a punt on, especially as ECD Sports offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. A vinyl foam version is available for £39.99.
