Enter the Muzzle. This is the Gobi with a removable rubber bumper that wraps around the back of the saddle, offering superior protection for uplifts, crashing and so on.
We found it gripped a little too much on some shorts for all day riding, but appreciated the protection it offered in abusive conditions.You can pick up a standard Gobi XM Manganese for a lot less money though, and we’d like to see the Muzzle as a separate accessory.
