The Max is Gusset’s full performance ‘mini’ jump saddle. It has the smallest dimensions here, so it’s the least likely to get in the way when you’re styling off the jumps but there’s still just enough room to park your arse.
Rounded edges stop snagging, the Kevlar back and nose stop the saddle getting shredded in crashes and the textured vinyl cover helps you keep control when you’re hands free. There are also plastic bumper grips under the nose and tail for grab action.
Deep padding keeps the saddle comfy whatever angle you land on it and the 8mm thick rails are plenty strong. The rails are only 5cm long so there isn’t much scope for position adjustment, but the price is very good for such a quality perch.
