This is Ritchey’s mountain bike saddle, but it’s suited to road use too as it’s virtually identical to the Ritchey Streem, the road version. The difference is that the Marathon has more padding.
All of our testers found it to be comfortable and the comments led to this being labelled as an ideal saddle for long rides and touring.
The only drawback is that the saddle’s abrasion-resistant side panels allow it to soak up water when it rains. Thankfully that doesn’t get through to your bum though as the top cover is waterproof.
