Our review
Versatile saddle that excels at more technical cross-country riding

We were instant fans of the Ritchey Comp when we tried it last year, only bemoaning (in a very small way) the fact that its sub-£25 price point precluded lighter weight titanium rails.

Enter the WCS Biomax, with a supportive platform and excellent manoeuvrability. It has all our favourite features that we liked on the Comp, plus the titanium rails we craved.

The base feels firm to the touch but doesn’t ride hard – rather it gives a sensation of control and a feel for the trail, and it’s very easy to move forwards and backwards as the terrain demands. If you favour more technical cross-country riding, add this to the ‘must-try’ list.
