With its deep rear cutaway, designed to reduce pressure on your tender areas, the SKN saddle naturally has quite a bit of give to it when you’re seated.
This doesn’t translate into undue flex when riding though, and it does make this saddle exceptionally comfortable.
The titanox (titanium nitride oxide; it has similar properties to traditional 3/2.5 titanium alloy, but is cheaper and easier to produce) tubular rails also add a little welcome comfort.
Although the Bio Foam padding is a little on the thin side, it never feels as though there isn’t enough of it, and it’s certainly preferable to having too much padding, which can place undue pressure on the pudendal nerve and artery.
Also, despite how it looks, that Microfeel covering isn’t slippery at all. The SKN is 282mm long and 152mm wide, and it weighs in at 182g.
