Our review
Lightweight and firm race saddle, but an unforgiving and rigid ride

The Phenom is a sub-200g saddle and it feels like it. Despite the notched V back, it rode rigidly with no discernible flex to the rider and has a hard section at the nose, which we were conscious of all the time.

The Phenom’s construction is solid and durable with edging round the back of the seat to prevent damage and it has a long central cut-out that ensures there’s no undercarriage squish.

If you like to ride an incredibly solid platform when you race then you might get on with this (and it is available in different widths), but we felt hammered by every bump.
