Offers a promising stiffness to weight ratio but with a decent price tag

Aerozine may be relatively new to the cycling industry, but their aerospace engineering history dates back to 1950, and this seatpost suggests they could be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to strength-to-weight ratios.

Intended for cross-country and all-mountain use, our 31.6mm diameter, 350mm length test seatpost tickled the scales at just under 200g. Two titanium bolts hold the saddle firmly in the cradle and an anodised finish gives a look of quality.

The Aerozine XP1.0 seatpost will definitely satisfy riders who are looking for a lightweight but reasonably priced replacement seatpost.
