FSA posts come on loads of bikes and they’re also well worth a look in their own right.
The FSA SL-220 LX shaft is forged and then machined from a single piece of alloy to leave it thicker at the front and rear for strength, and the head is moulded into the same single piece of alloy so there’s no weak spot at the neck. The real bonus, however, is that the post provides a full lay-back saddle position without compromising security or ease of adjustment. In fact, we’ve had this post on test for two years and not done anything to it since fitting it. The price and weight are reasonable too, which leaves only the single-size availability as a downside.
