Truvativ Team Double Clamp Seatpost review

Seatposts aren't the parts highest on the must-buy lists of many bikers, but they're one of the things we all whinge about when they creak or let the saddle slip.

Our review
A tidy, strong and secure seatpost for just about any kind of mountain bike

Seatposts aren't the parts highest on the must-buy lists of many bikers, but they're one of the things we all whinge about when they creak or let the saddle slip.

This twin-clamped beauty from Truvativ will fit the bill nicely if you suffer from an offensive seatpost. It's available in 27.2, 30, 30.9 and 31.6mm sizes so it will fit most bikes out there. You can also choose between 250 or 350mm lengths, although the longer seatpost costs £5 more.

Twin 5mm allen bolts clamp the cradle in place, allowing for easy position adjustment, and the two-tone shiny/matt-blasted finish looks great in our opinion.
