Our review
The best tyre we've ridden all year - for virtually all riding

Every now and then we come across a gem of a tyre - like this. It's available in a variety of different casings and compounds - we tested the 2.3in folding in medium rebound rubber and haven't wanted to ride anything else since. It has an average size carcass, resists punctures well and has a good profile with strong shoulders.

The tread pattern is fairly open, in a paddle format, making for great traction in virtually all conditions, and the square shoulders hook up well in turns. We're impressed by how hard you can push this tyre - it feels much more like a DH tyre than its all-mountain tag suggests. We found the medium compound grippy enough for all conditions, and it rolls pretty well too. Pumped up at 40-50psi, this tyre rules. It's fast, predictable and well made. We're converts.
