Very fast and great value tyre, the Maxxis CrossMark is suited to cross country racers and best in dry conditions.
The CrossMark delivers outstanding straight line speed on hardpack, but can be totally lethal in damp woods. Unfortunately, that almost continuous square block centreline not only holds mud in the wet, but also slips wildly at any hint of a root.
Another tyre with a personality performance tag, the CrossMark was designed for Swiss cross country superhero Christoph Sauser. It certainly goes like the wind in a straight line.
