The relatively wide-spaced knobs and high weight make the Yellow Kirin a bit slow, but it'll still leave most bigger-knobbed tyres behind. The upside is consistent braking, driving and cornering grip in dry to slightly damp conditions. Any slide is calm and controlled if you do exceed its limits.
The oversized (it's nearer 2.4/2.5in), thick-wall Magnum 66 casing and hard >rubber lasts well and shrugs off steps, rock swipes and thorns better than >average too.
