There are a few areas where super-lightweight products make us nervous, and the quick release is one of them.
Out of the bag these seem frighteningly svelte. Hollow cro-mo shafts trim the weight way down, while a Delrin cam and Halo's standard laser-etched lever deal with clamping duties without quibble. We had no problems whatsoever with these, but would definitely plump for frequent checking and replacement due to the harsh nature of the job - although the great price makes this less of a chore.
