The SAS is Halo's super tough jump/ downhill wheelset. The super wide 37mm rims are welded and pinned for maximum strength, they'll take tyres up to 3in wide and they're rim brake compatible.
36 front spokes and 48 in the rear thread into double eyelets for maximum hard landing resistance.The Spin Doctor hubs are very versatile - an adaptor supplied with the front hub means you can use a quick-release or 20mm axle, and the rear model is available with quick-release or various bolted/bolt-through standards, including Shimano Saint axles. The hubs are well sealed too. The wheel weight is high but 24 and 26in versions, plus white powdercoat and black- or gold-anodised finishes are available.
