The Hope Pro 2 hubs at the heart of these hand-built wheels are a bit heavy and noisy but they're tough. We’ve only just had to replace our first bearing on a set that we’ve been beasting for three years.
The DT Swiss XR4.2D rim is tough for its low weight but relatively narrow, so trade up to the 5.1 option for tyres over 2.2in.
The wheels are built in the UK with double butted DT Swiss spokes for outstanding stiffness and lifespan.
Compatibility with 15, 20 and 24mmfront axles and 10, 12mm or bolted rear axles makes them uniquely versatile for a cross-country wheel.
Each set comes with spare spokes, rim tape and replacement stickers and they’re still great value despite a recent price rise.
