Light, tight, drop-dead gorgeous and super durable – at a cracking price

As well as looking superfly with their multiple drilled flanges, the triple- butted straight-pull spokes enabled Hope to lose nearly 200g per wheel over conventional builds - without sacrificing strength. Add DT's lightest rim (4.2D), and you've got a wheel that feels faster and more accurate than any of the cheaper sets around.

The new Pro III hubs use INA stainless steel bearings sitting under seals that Hope have spent years perfecting. The only downside is that Pro II-style 20mm front conversion kits aren't available. You also get a Ti body version of their easy-to-pull-apart and self service freehub body, so long-term life is about as good as it gets. Skewers aren't included, but spare spokes are.
