This great value twinset from Hotlines combines Nukeproof’s excellent Generator hubs with Sun’s Singletrack rims on the outside. At a broad 31mm in width they’ll plump any tyre out to floaty, fat dimensions. They’re not quite as strong as they look though, so treat them as heavy duty trail rims.
The Generator hubs are great, with fast pickup from the six-pawl, 32-tooth ratchet guts. Seals seem good and the multiple cartridge bearings are smooth, while cold-forged machined shells add detailed looks.
The front has quick-release and 20mm spacers, while the rear has 135mm quick-release or 135mm and 150mm width, 12mm screw-through options. The weight is a bit high, but the price is excellent.
