Ritchey have always made good, dependable products and these wheels follow that tradition. The rims, spokes and hubs are all basic but very well made.
The build is first-rate, with tight spoke tension and exceptional straightness. The rear wheel uses Ritchey’s OCR (Off Centre Rim) system, where the spokes are positioned off-centre in the rim to reduce dishing. This results in a wheel that has a more even than usual spoke tension from the drive side to the non-drive side, and we know from experience that it will take a little more abuse than usual to knock it out of true. The ride quality has a good balance of quick acceleration and high-speed stability. These are impressively stiff, if a little harsh over the bumps.
