Spinergy Fall Line Freeride review

These look bonkers but they're great quality. The double-walled rims are pretty wide at 39mm, which means even the fattest tyres get a wide seat for extra stability. They're impressively stiff and durable too.

Hugely expensive, but with unique looks and massive strength

These look bonkers but they're great quality. The double-walled rims are pretty wide at 39mm, which means even the fattest tyres get a wide seat for extra stability. They're impressively stiff and durable too.

The unusual spokes are made from a light fibre called PBO (polyphenylene bensobisoxazole) - you can feel slight flex compared to steel spokes, but they're incredibly strong. The open-flange CNC'd hubs are equally tough, and the alloy freehub is very tight and reliable. It also keeps the weight super-low for such burly wheels.

The standard axle set-up is 20mm front and quick-release rear but 12mm bolted axle and 150mm hub options are available. The price is crazy expensive though.
