The German-engineered Evoc has more bells-and-whistles bag than some messenger bags.

The top flap has a zipped pocket, and open up the main bag and you’ll find a padded 15in laptop sleeve, one for an iPad, another near-full-length zipped pocket, various sizes of drop-in pockets and even a key fob.

The tough polyurethane bag has a water-resistant coating to help prevent the contents of your bag succumbing to the elements.

The EVOC Messenger is available in colours other than black, but I’d still have preferred more reflective details than just the small tab, and I’d have also liked a waist band to go with the wide padded shoulder strap, though it still stays in place once you tighten the strap down.
