Light and tough, although it lacks sufficient ventilation...

The Section is part of a new generation of skate-style lids. Just like a lightweight cross-country helmet, it uses a polycarbonate hard outer shell, in-moulded to the EPS liner.

This makes it very light – just 315g – but with all the knock-proof qualities that his type of helmet requires. It’s really comfortable to wear, and you don’t need to use extra, head squashing padding to stop the lid from moving around.

There are eight slot vents to keep your head cool, although they are a bit sparse and small to have any genuine bonce-cooling effect.
