Light, comfy and stable but we wish the peak was adjustable

MET have completely overhauled the Terra this year to offer this radical-looking, aggressive all-mountain lid in a host of bright, soft-touch finishes and colourways.

The Terra sinks nice and low on the head, and has soft padding for an extremely comfortable fit. Coupled with the click-wheel retention system, which can be adjusted in small increments, it ensures a solid and stable fit out on the trail. In fact, for the money we couldn’t believe how comfortable it is and it’s quite light too, tipping the scales at just 295g.

Twenty-one large vents provide a massive amount of airflow and do a great job of keeping your head cool. The peak is removable but not adjustable, which is really our only real niggle with the Terra – we found it sat quite low and hampered vision when out of the saddle and attacking the trail.
