Offers advanced protective features but not at the cost of weight, but lacks internal channels

Some neat touches set this helmet apart from the crowd. For starters, at 300g it’s one of the lightest lids to offer a full wrap-around in-moulded shell, protecting the lower edge of the fragile inner from everyday knocks and scrapes without a significant weight penalty.

The visor is angle-adjustable – although not lockable – and the rear cradle rotates up and down for a comfortable and very secure fit.

Padding is sweat-wicking and mimimalist, and the vent count is up there with the best at 24, though we’d expect to see more in the way of internal channelling at this price.

By far this helmet’s best feature is the way it fits and adjusts so securely and easily. As a light, durable and comfy alternative to the big helmet brands it’s well worth a look.
