The Boardman Road comes with its own hard carry case – useful if, like us, you’re in the habit of chucking your helmet in the back of the car.
The styling is love/hate – though it looks better when you’re riding than when it’s off the bike. We had a slight issue with the back of the helmet partially overlapping the closure system, which made the fit harder to adjust.
We also found the sizing to come up a little larger than stated. Saying that, the ventilation was very good and the Boardman’s carbon fibre internal structure is usually reserved for more expensive helmets.
