Classic big battery version of this versatile modular system

This Halogen set lets you run a huge range of bulbs (5-35W, spot or flood) with the 12W spot, 20W Flood being their most popular setup. The big over-volted flood gives huge peripheral coverage for low-to-mid speed technical riding, with the spot adding useful depth when needed. The 'warmer' Halogen light is less clinical in detail but doesn't glare as badly as LED/HIDs in wet conditions.

The simple alloy head units come in five different anodised colours with helmet mounts also available. However, while the toggle switches are easy to flick on, they're also easy to flick off accidentally. The lights run extremely hot too, and there's no low battery indicator. Tighter connector plugs reduce the old 'accidental pull out' problem - at least when new - though.

The big 'Endurance' bottle battery gives reasonable run time but it adds serious weight. Smaller Pro and Elite bag batteries are available though, plus LED and HID upgrade lamps or cheaper NiMh systems.
