This Mace lid is light on the wallet but it still looks the part with its ‘punk’ graphics wrapping around the base.
The polycarbonate shell is robust and can take a good whack without flinching. We like the polystyrene inner and there are 11 vents, which are well positioned, and do a good job of cooling your head down when the temperature starts to rise.
On the downside, the Punk sits quite high on your head and doesn't feel that secure. At 440g and with no internal venting channels, things heat up pretty fast too.
