White Chain Wax is the seventh product from the eco-friendly Green Oil crew. It's designed for dusty and dry conditions but can also be used in the wet once fully dried after application. Once applied and dry it leaves a thin waxy residue on the chain that doesn’t pick up dirt and grime at all.
Initial use was okay but it soon required a top-up as the chain began to squeak under load. In wetter conditions, it’ll work but you really do have to apply a lot more. Not the best lube for wet rides but clean and eco-friendly. We’ll keep you posted on how it performs when the sun finally comes out.
