If you're anything like us, you don't clean your waterproofs too often for fear of washing out the water repellency. But no one will want to ride with you unless you give your kit a quick spin in the machine every now and then, and in fact, a cleaner jacket will be more water repellent and breathable.
Over time, that water repellent layer will wear off – and that's where this cleaner and proofer comes in.
Bung a couple of capfuls into the tray and wash according to the manufacturer's instructions and it'll bring your waterproof up looking all shiny and new and add the goodness back in at the same time.
Put it in the tumble dryer afterwards to maximise the performance, and the job's done – just one cycle.
It's suitable for all kinds of waterproof, breathable fabric including Gore-Tex and it lasts up to 10 washes.
