The Air Tower 2 has a steel barrel and base that are welded together. It has small storage drawers for items such as patch kits and tyre levers built into both ends of the ergonomic handle, and the gauge is accurate.
A bonus, if you need it, is that it has a fairly long hose, and the valve head is a simple and functional design. It works well too.
Although we would like the base to be a little more stable forwards and backwards, it’s hard to fault what is otherwise a very good pump at a good price.
