As you'd hope – and expect – from a pump at this price, the newest edition to Blackburn’s track pump range performs impeccably. Designed to pump tyres up to 220psi, the HP easily reaches 100psi in just 16 strokes.
The aluminium barrel, base and head make for an incredibly solid feel, which is backed up by Blackburn’s lifetime warranty. The metal head – designed for Presta valves only – is equally solid, and features a bleed valve in case you overdo the pumping.
Another neat touch – and a clever use of space – is that the handle actually has a couple of little storage drawers, handy for patches, valve extenders and the like. All those things that are all too easily lost around the workshop.
